Our Hair Transplant Clinic

Hair Restoration Surgery

New York NY Hair Restoration Clinic

Our hair transplant facility combines the latest in technology in hair transplant with locations in both Long Island and New York City. Dr Jacono’s facility is certified by the AAAASF, or the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, and meets all New York State Department of Health Surgery Center Standards. This state-of-the-art facility allows us to provide the latest in Follicular Unit Hair Transplant (FUT) Surgery using both the thin strip method as well as FUE or Follicular Unit Extraction. We utilize the NeoGraft automated FUE system because of its ability to provide quality hair follicles with high graft take rates. Our hair transplant team is led by Dr Jacono’s who has over 14 years of hair transplant experience. He is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS). His team consists of 4 hair transplant technicians that have over 10 years of experience each in FUT.

To minimize any pain or discomfort during the procedure, Dr Jacono will administer sedative medications. This is only required during the beginning of the procedure when the scalp is numbed before the grafts are harvested and transplanted.

We perform your hair transplant surgery in individual hair transplant suites. We have ergonomic, plush, adjustable sofa chairs that help maximize your comfort. To help the time pass during your treatment, each room has a flat screen television with cable, IPADs to surf the internet, and IPhone and IPod docking stations to listen to music, and Satellite Radio. Our patients are served refreshments and meals throughout the day as many hair transplant cases can take from 4 to 8 hours depending upon the number of grafts being transplanted. Usually a 1000 hair graft session will take around 4 hours with 2500 graft sessions taking up to 2.5 hours.
