Dr. Andrew Jacono
Dr. Jacono is a dual board-certified surgeon in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Head and Neck Surgery. He is one of New York’s most prestigious and acclaimed hair restoration specialists and facial plastic surgeons.
Dr. Jacono is trained in the latest methods of hair transplantation and has been performing hair transplantation surgeries for the last 14 years. He is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS). Dr. Jacono regularly performs follicular unit extraction hair transplant (FUE) to restore the hair without scarring.
Dr. Jacono has been honored as one of the best facial plastic and hair transplantation surgeons in New York in Castle Connolly’s Guide to America’s Top Doctors, and in US News and World Report.
Dr. Sean Alemi
Dr. Sean Alemi is a double-board certified, fellowship-trained Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. Dr. Andrew Jacono selected him through the Academic of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to complete a highly competitive fellowship program under Dr. Jacono’s direction and guidance.
In addition to his many surgical accomplishments, publications, and honors, Dr. Alemi is highly trained in the full range of hair restoration procedures, performing hair transplantation for patients to reverse hair loss and newly achieve a full, thick head of hair.
Our facility
Our facility is certified by the AAAASF (the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities). Our private hair restoration clinics meet all New York State Department of Health Surgery Center standards.
We perform hair transplant surgery in individual hair transplant suites equipped with plush ergonomic sofa chairs for maximum comfort. Each treatment room has a flat-screen television with cable, an iPad to surf the Internet, and iPhone and iPod docking stations so you can listen to music or satellite radio.
Our patients are served refreshments and meals throughout the day, as many hair transplant cases can take four to eight hours, depending on the number of grafts to be transplanted. Usually, a 1000 hair graft session will take two and a half hours, with 2500 graft sessions taking about four hours to complete.
